Jurnal Makro: Jurnal Manajemen dan Kewirausahaan publishes research results in the fields of management science and entrepreneurship.

Manuscript Type

Makro: Jurnal Manajemen dan Kewirausahaan publishes original scholarly works in the fields of management and entrepreneurship. The journal welcomes manuscripts that contribute to the development of management theories, business practices, entrepreneurial activities, and organizational studies.

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

1. Original Research Articles

Original research articles report the findings of empirical studies using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches. Manuscripts should present a clear research problem, relevant theoretical foundations, appropriate methodology, rigorous analysis, and meaningful contributions to management and entrepreneurship.

2. Literature Review Articles

Literature review articles critically examine and synthesize existing research on specific topics in management and entrepreneurship. These manuscripts should provide a clear review methodology, identify research gaps, and offer theoretical or practical implications. Systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses are welcome.

3. Conceptual Articles

Conceptual articles develop, refine, or integrate theories, concepts, and frameworks relevant to management and entrepreneurship. These manuscripts should provide a strong theoretical rationale and offer original insights that advance scholarly understanding.

4. Case Study Articles

Case study articles provide in-depth analyses of organizations, businesses, managerial practices, or entrepreneurial activities. Manuscripts should use a clearly explained analytical approach and demonstrate relevant lessons or implications for management theory and practice.

5. Short Research Communications

Short research communications present concise but significant research findings, preliminary empirical evidence, or focused contributions to current discussions in management and entrepreneurship. They must provide sufficient methodological and analytical information to support their conclusions.

General Requirements

All submitted manuscripts must:

  • Fall within the journal's aims and scope.

  • Present original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration by another journal.

  • Demonstrate academic rigor, clarity, and relevance to management and entrepreneurship.

  • Follow the journal's author guidelines and publication ethics policies.

  • Include appropriate references, transparent research methods, and evidence supporting the conclusions.

All manuscripts are subject to an initial editorial assessment and, if considered suitable, peer review in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.

The acceptance of any manuscript type is subject to the journal's scope, quality standards, and editorial decision.

Authorship Criteria

Makro: Jurnal Manajemen dan Kewirausahaan recognizes authorship based on substantial scholarly contributions to the research and manuscript. All individuals listed as authors must meet the following criteria:

  1. Substantial Contribution: Authors must have made significant contributions to the conception or design of the study, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of findings, or development of the research methodology.

  2. Manuscript Preparation: Authors must have participated in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.

  3. Final Approval: All authors must review and approve the final version of the manuscript before submission and agree to its publication if accepted.

  4. Accountability: All authors must accept responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of their contributions and cooperate in addressing questions concerning the research or publication.

  5. Corresponding Author: The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the editorial office, ensuring that all authors meet the authorship criteria, obtaining their approval of the submitted manuscript, and coordinating communications throughout the review and publication process.

  6. Acknowledgment of Non-Author Contributions: Individuals who contribute to the research but do not meet the authorship criteria, such as those providing administrative assistance, technical support, language editing, or general supervision, should be acknowledged appropriately with their permission.

  7. Prevention of Unethical Authorship Practices: Gift authorship, guest authorship, ghost authorship, and other forms of inappropriate attribution are not permitted. All authorship contributions must be accurately disclosed.

  8. Changes in Authorship: Any addition, removal, or rearrangement of authors after submission must be justified, agreed upon by all affected authors, and approved by the journal editor before publication.

By submitting a manuscript to Makro: Jurnal Manajemen dan Kewirausahaan, authors confirm that the authorship information is accurate, that all listed authors have approved the manuscript, and that no eligible contributor has been improperly excluded.

These criteria are intended to promote transparency, fairness, accountability, and ethical conduct in scholarly publishing.

Peer Review Process

We conduct a two-stage peer review process. First, the editor will conduct an internal review. If the article is deemed qualified, the peer review process will proceed to an external review by peer reviewers. We have several reviewers, as follows.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal History

Makro use open journal system since 2016. This journal focus in management's science and entrepreneurship.
