PUBLICATION ETHICS

The Ellite of Unira is a journal of English language teaching, linguistics, and literature. The Journal provides in-depth research and analysis in various areas, including English language teaching (methods, strategies, teaching media, assessment, etc.), English Linguistics (phonology, syntax, morph syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics, etc.), and English literature (including comparative studies and the implementation of literature in English language teaching). This scientific code of ethics statement is a statement of all parties involved in the publication process of English Language research journals including managers, editors, bestari partners, and writers. This statement of the scientific publication code of ethics is based on the Regulation of the Head of LIPI Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications. Scientific publication ethics upholds three ethical values in publication, namely (i) Neutrality, means being free from conflicts of interest in publication management; (ii) Justice, means granting authorship rights to those entitled to be authors/writers; and (iii) Honesty, means free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications. In order to avoid plagiarism, every incoming manuscript will be checked further with a plagiarism checker application, namely Turnitin.
