Abstract
Abstract
Polri is a tool of the State in the field of law enforcement that maintains, improves the rule of law, fostering the peace of society, realizing security, public order, protecting, providing protection and service to the community, and guiding the community to create good conditions. The research conducted is normative legal research by conducting studies on legislation and legal theory related to the existing problems.
Based on the results of the study that the decrease of public confidence in the Police is caused by the act of mischievous some unscrupulous polri acting not in accordance with the rules that apply to make the image of polri smeared. POLRI as a competent state instrument should provide security and order maintenance, enforce the law, and the implementation of protection, protection and service to the community well. Increased salary increase is expected Polri could improve itself well to gain public trust. Through Government Regulation No. 32 of 2015 and accompanied by professionalism as much as possible Police can reduce the crisis of public confidence in the Police.
